Spider-man Battles Doctor Octopus, Venom, Hobgoblin, Sandman, Electro and Carnage... Sinister Six?!

DescriptionThis is a commission piece done for a new bud of mine named Eric. He likes Spidey and his villains... But I guess that is obvious! He wanted Spidey battling six of his favorites, so that's what I gave him! I wanted this piece to be one of those, super busy pieces where you might notice something different every time you look at it. I also wanted to have the villains in various sizes and from different perspectives to not make the piece look like everyone is not ganging up on Spidey at once... Not giving him a chance. I mean... Would all of these villains try and rush him at once? Really? I figure each one would want to deliver the final blow in his own way, so they wouldn't all go in at once. Some would stick around and wait for him to be battered by the other guys. Then rush in to deliver the final knockout! I also decided to make it look like Spidey is benefitting from a little good luck as well with some of the villains taking each other out of the contest, thus lessening Spidey's workload. I mean... Come on... What kind of chance would he actually have if this fight, with these six villains, was taking place right now if he didn't have a little help? I have Spidey in the middle of this dogfight, barely eluding Electro's blast (man is he flexible?!) that has, inadvertantly, hit Doctor Octopus. (Those metal arms wouldn't be a good thing against a guy who likes to zap the hell out of you with electricity!) Then I have Spidey wrapping up Hobgoblin's legs in webbing, thus jerking him off of his glider, which has then gone on to take out Carnage at the top of the page. Sandman rushes up behind Spidey with those huge Sand mits getting ready to squash our friendly neighborhood Spider-man! Then, last but not least... If things weren't bad enough already, in the foreground we have Venom getting ready to join the fight!... Drool and all!Ok... I guess that about sums it up. I am going to send Eric a link to this page so he can see this commission for himself for the first time. I really hope he likes it. Afterall... He is a cop, so he has already threatened to come get me and lock me up if this doesn't get his approval. Pray for me everyone... I might be doing my work from a jail cell before long. lol... maybe :( Social/Sharing |

Well...what can I say, OUTSTANDING! What a fabulous job you did...this is one AMAZING piece of artwork! Thanks Again! You get one "Get out of Jail Free" card from the community chest...haha
