DescriptionWhen Archie Comics announced the "New Look Series", I was not impressed. I am one who believes Archie needs to look like Archie. But when I got the trade paperback version of the "Goodbye Forever" storyline (as compensation for some damaged goods), I had to admit that it worked. The story was more dramatic than the usual Archie fare and the excellent art by Norm Breyfogle (a favorite of mine from his Batman days) was the right compliment to the story. I chose this page because it's a particularly dramatic moment from one of my favorite supporting characters, Reggie. It's got the dynamic look of breyfogle, yet is telling an emotional story, not an action-oriented one. Good stuff. Social/Sharing |
