Description

After winning one of the eBay auctions that artist Darwyn Cooke held last Christmas for the benefit of the Hero Initiative, I felt a bit like the proverbial dog that finally catches the car that he's chasing. What do I do now? How could I possibly choose a single character for a sketch out of the whole universe of possible options? Although I fell in love with Darwyn's work in the DC Universe, I'm a true Marvel fan at heart, and what better character to channel his sleek style and gift for femmes fatale than the Black Cat? I found a fantastic sketch of Catwoman by Darwyn in Scott Green's Comic Art Fans gallery and asked if he could do a similar rendition with the Black Cat.
