DescriptionThe first time I saw Sprouse's work, it was on his too-brief cover run on Spider-Man Classics specifically issues 12, 13, and 15; well worth finding. I'm old enough of a Spidey fan that I remember the Ditko version (albeit only on the initial reprintings in Marvel Tales). I've always preferred the skinnier, more wiry Spider-Man over the more muscular renditions and so really took notice of Chris' covers. He just looked more...well, "spidery".I'm usually at a loss as to what I want an artist to draw when soliciting a convention sketch. But on occasion I get it just right.
