Description

Vaughn Bode did a number of mock covers of science fictions digests, for the 1969 St. Louis SF Convention art show. I've had this one for at least 30 years and I still love it! I think some of these covers are better than the ones published during his lifetime!

This is great, but I've never seen the "mock" terminology before? I've got one similar to this, which is "preliminary" piece to an actual cover. It's one of my first framings, so it needs a little work now that I know what I'm doing, I'll get back to it someday! I tried to find your piece as a cover, but didn't have any luck. However, I didn't find mine either doing a brief Google search, but since I've got an actual copy of the magazine, I know mine was a preliminary. Regardless, this is really cool...
