Description

Dutch artist Romano Molenaar does a fabulous DD and Black Widow here taking on the Man-Bull. Bob Almond provides his usual lovely inks. Apologies for my changing logos but I wanted to show off the giant DD face that Romano drew. By the way, he is taking over THE DARKNESS with Phil Hester.

Michael, will you perchance be posting the pencils? It shows the tonal job I started with, challenging me to do the whole thing in greywash here....not something I'm used to and it took forever...but I don't think it turned out too badly;-)

This so captures the spirit of the bronze age with their frantic covers as delineated by Gil Kane on so many Marvel covers like the original on which this is based.
