Description

Thomas had done such a great job with the other Adventure Team commissions that I couldn't help but ask him to do another.

Here, again, is the 70's version of GI Joe. Back when it was caught between comic book super heroes (Bulletman) and the popularity of the Six Million Dollar Man (Atomic Man). As I found myself thinking about who kinds of adventures the team could go on I kept coming back to Jonny Quest. At a certain point the connection seemed to clear to let go so, here's the Joe Adventure Team tackling some of Jonny Quest's best monsters. Joe himself is investigating the Curse of Annubis! while Atomic Man deals with the Robot Spy! and Bulletman fights for his life against Turu the Terrible!

I don't think there's anything I don't just love about this one but I think the coloring on Turu really stands out. Just perfect. This one, plus the Venus Probe one, are already on the wall. Original size 11x14

Wow as soon as i saw the Probe my mind went Johnny Quest. Then i read that's your inspiration, well it came across fine. This is an amazing Piece.
