I saw a post on rebelscum.com about this guy who's been doing Cubist style paintings of Star Wars characters.

I went to his Ebay store (http://shop.ebay.com/tommervik_paintings/m.html?_trksid=p4340.l2562) and was shocked at the prices; until I realised that you could make offers.

This piece is so me, as I'm a huge fan of Star Wars and toys. I actually own the playset, and a Chief Chirpa.

After some tooing and froing we worked out a fair price for the piece and now it's mine. It's truly gorgeous in the flesh, and if you're considering buying from Tommervik I'd encourage you to do so.

Cool piece! I saw his work on Ebay a while back too, and while I like some of it and was intrigued, the $1 million asking on most of them is just ludicrous. (although clearly he takes offers or nothing would ever sell:) Congrats on owning some million dollar art! ;)
