This piece was a happy accident. At this year's first Kapow con in London, I happened across Chris Weston's table where he had a bunch of art for sale. There was some great stuff there but I always thought that Chris' style might lend itself to Marvelman, so asked him about the possibility of a commission at some point. As luck would have it, he said, he was going to be doing his version of the character as a pitch for Marvel.....would I be interested in seeing the result when it was done? After a couple of months I had sort of placed that conversation at the back of my mind until he sent me this scan.

It's a great version so I had to buy it. Would you believe there is NO whiteout in this piece?

Jason, really amazing. I had Chris do a One Minute Later for me with Marvelman/Miracleman a few years back and I agree his style with MM clicks.
