Mystery in Space No. 1, Page 2

Though most people know him from drawing “Superman: Earth One”, it was his work from “Mystery in Space” 5 years ago that made me notice Shane Davis’ name. Here, the de-aged Captain Comet is assailed by a team of monks that share his strength and psionic powers. Later in the story, he discovered that these were cloned from his cells by the mercantilist Eternal Light Corporation. This was one of a handful of original pages that I bought during the show and easily the most beautiful. (Fan Expo Canada, 08/2011)
