So this is the October 21, 2002 "Wapsi Square", the first one Taylor did on my birthday. (He just happened not to do one in 2001, the first year of the strip.)

So this was definitely one I wanted for the Birthday Collection, since it was the oldest and was pretty funny and showed Taylor's early style.

To aid in display on comicartfans, I've got the first panel as the main image. The whole thing can be seen below.
