Mai Shiranui (SNK King of Fighters) by DaiKon (I)

This one came up for auction after I had already purchased and paid for my other Mai Shiranui piece. Despite the fact that it would mean paying the high shipping cost *again* and the fact that I'd probably buy a number of additional pieces (more money gone!), this is one I simply *had* to have.

To me, it perfectly captures Mai's personality without going over the top, as DaiKon is often prone to do. I'd put it up against any of the professional, official images of Mai that have come from SNK.

Later, I realized that DaiKon re-uses some poses and that they had re-done this piece with bigger breasts. I then got the opportunity to buy what I assume is the original pencils for both these pieces. I include the comparison of the three pieces below.
