Description

Superb re-creation of the very first issue of DC anthology title, Detective Comics #1 (DC, 1937), by legendary Golden-Age artist Creig Flessel.

Yes, yes, I know that Vincent Sullivan was the original artist for this classic cover, but Sullivan was physically unable to draw it and thus, turned my request over to his ace artist, Flessel instead. Creig even signed Vincent's name and then put his initials just beneath the signature. Cleaver O'l Fless. Rest easy, my friend.
