Obviously a reworking of the Cockrum classic image of X Men Versus the imperial Guard. Cockrum had just left working on the Legion to draw the XMen. Clever concept whoever came up with it.

I wonder how many saw the original comic pages of this and thier brain immediately saw this image instead? I know when i finally saw it i did. This is amazing.
