Description

This is the alternate cover to Rising Stars #1. This particular image was used for well over 6 months on ads promoting the series prior to its launch. Since I had wanted to do something pretty unique with the frame, I took one of the posters with the same image, and had the original art placed in the center of the meteor. The edges were cut all jagged to keep more of the meteor feel, and then chunks of the cut out meteor part were used on the remaining portions of the poster to give it a 3-D look. You can't really tell good in the picture, but the differences are quite apparent when you see it in person. I then added in both comic book cover versions of this piece on the bottom, which fit nicely into the scope of the poster. A lot of people who saw this frame said it was their favorite. Glad it found a good home.
