FREEFALL SWIMSUIT PINUP

this is a double-page spread from "Wildstorm Swimsuit Gallery 2." each pinup took place at an actual location, and this one -- for some reason -- was at Mount Rushmore. the actual art has no trace of Mount Rushmore, so it appears the location was added digitally in the coloring process. scott clark's signature also is not on the original and appears to have been photoshopped onto the printed page. the inker did sign the lower right corner (and left space for clark's signature). the colorist's name also was added digitally to the final version. what is on the printed page is a great deal of gridwork, done in light pencils. it doesn't show up here (my scanner settings aren't kind to light pencils, and the scan process removed a lot of the blue work). but there's a large, irregular grid pattern in the areas above her body. i'm curious if this helped in the adding of the rushmore scene by the colorist.
