DescriptionI don't actively seek out comic strip art. But there are a few strips that I would love a piece from: Calvin & Hobbes, Peanuts, Bloom County, and Zits.Well, I can cross one of those off my list. I have always loved this strip. Jeremy, the teen, is pretty much me 20 years ago, and the father is a dead-ringer for my old man. Add to that the fact that I have long respected Jim Borgman's work – both on this strip and his "day job" as an editorial cartoonist. He's pretty much everything I want to be when I grow up. And to top it off, how many people can say they have the work of a Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist hanging on their wall? I can. Dated 5/7/2006 Social/Sharing |

And your story combined with great artistry is what makes it a Grail. Congratulations.

Zits may be the best of current strips and I remember this one distinctly. It is certainly one of my favorites. It hits awfully close to home for me, too. An Pulitzer Winner on the way is way cool. Congrats!

It's always worth a smile when a comic strip lets us see a bit of ourselves when we enter its world and Zits makes me smile more than most.

We all had some of those when we were young (zits)! I love this strip, very funny! Makes me want to be the Sunday paper and check out the comics!
