Description

One of my dearest possessions. Bought directly from Mike Dringenberg. I had looked at the splash for the introdcution of Desire, but Mike made a sales pitch for this ("its inked by George Pratt! Don't be an idiot! Its gorgeous") that I could not resist. I truly enjoyed his art, and miss it all the more. Signed by Dringenberg and some years later by Neil Gaiman. A close inspection of Gaiman's signature reveals an in-joke I treasure - he's a gent.

That was quite a sales pitch. Really, how could you refuse? And I think you know that he did not steer you wrong. It has the fine character work this series is rightly famous for (I especially like the depiction of the impatience and the reticence of Morpheus.)

My goodness.....if this were to be posted today you'd get 30 comments in 24 hours. A true CAF gem - I've searched CAF for Sandman many times but this must be so deep in the database that it's only now that I see it. Just breathtakingly fantastic. Congratulations! And I love your description. It found it's forever home. Well done!!!
