nemu*nemu Hawaiian Style by Audra Furuichi

I first heard of Audra and her webcomic nemu*nemu in the local paper back in 2008. She was appearing at a local convention that I never heard of called Kawaii Kon so I went to check it out. I'm glad I did as not only am I a fan of hers now, but I met several other creators at that show and in the years since (including the great Stan Sakai the following year).

I kept planning on asking Audra to do a piece for me, and luckily she had a great memory and for some reason remembered who I was every year I saw her at the convention. We finally arranged to have a commission done last year and this is the result. It's the nemu*nemu cast on the beach in Hawai'i, beautifully rendered in watercolors.
