Description
To keep the stockings up and in good order, people used suspenders/garters that were fixed at some kind of underwear. Here we see two types: a ladies´ girdle and children´s knickers. The latter was also used by boys. - - - Well this is all more than 50 years ago, but it was common in middle and eastern Europe.
