Page 005 – We’ve known Doug for years, meeting him at a MN comic convention probably 10 years ago or so. He does a great job of promoting his book Arsenic Lullaby, even using a huge blow-up fetus at his convention area. My daughter has gotten her picture taken with it, and always gets an picture with Doug at every convention we see him at. So when Amethyst first got her sketchbook, she was thinking of all the people who could do sketches for her. Doug was one of the first people she thought of, saying she wanted to get a drawing of “that red guy”. As long as she doesn’t equate “that red guy” with a zombie fetus, I’m fine with that. She got this sketch at the 2011 MCBA FallCon.
