Description
One of the originals that Terry has steadfastly refused to part with is his painted cover to MS. TREE - DEADLY BELOVED. I am very enamored with that painting (you can see the preliminary and finished versions in additional images), so I asked Terry if he would be willing to do an inked version of the painting for me, to which he agreed. Completed and received in November 2011.

Nice, but if you ask me, you should've just waited. In my experience, every artists who has ever said they love one of their own pieces so much that they don't want to sell it, has simply mean to say "I really do love it, but I'll eventually part with it. It's just a matter of trying to guage how much it would take for me to be satisfied parting with it and how much I can get you to fork over for it." Don't worry Ray, you'll eventually pry it loose. Mark my words.... : )

I love the Hard Case Crime book covers. With this one, I think I like the ink wash recreation version as much as the original painted version. The black and white aspect gives it a cool noir feeling and Terry did an amazing job (as usual). Congrats on the pick up on this one.
