Description
Quite an achievement for me !!! Gathering the sequence of the Magus /Warlock revelation ...
Each of these pages is heavenly beautifully crafted by the Cosmic Master at the peek of his art and this one don't make any exception ...It is a page to stare at for hours where Warlock fights his inner demons under the watch of the Magus !!!

Unfortunatly the page has suffered from a previous owner's bad behavior and I guess HA.com's description should have said mutilated instead of laminated and I would ceratinly have saved some bucks on this pearl ...
Page has been plastified, and glued on a heavy board ...
My hopes are the glue won't turn yellow and that the art will still be viewable in 40 years .......

Despite these conditions the page remains with its sisters among the favorite of mine !!!

John many thanks again !!

Wow!!!!! It's unfortunate that the previous owner did what he/she did to the art, but I can see why you chose to purchase this beauty anyway!!! I agree with you: Starlin at his BEST!!!!!! Just a beautiful page!! Congratulations, my friend!!

I bought a Avengers Annual 7 page by Starlin from the same HA auction. Must have been the same owner who lamented it to a board. I too love my page and never plan to sell it but it is a bummer he did that.

A brilliant page - elegant in design, crisp in execution, and amongst Starlin's very best work. Shame you were stiffed as regards accurate description - I shall take that as due warning when dealing with the big boys in buying art! Considering the fact that they take a commission for advertising and dealing in the work, it's their responsibility to be fair and honest! I would still say well done for acquiring a stunning, classic page which you'll clearly take care of and enjoy for many years to come. Who wants a Van Gogh or Picasso when you can share and display work as eclectic and dynamic as this?
