I first saw Rafa's work here on CAF (you've got to check out his Dr. Strange and Big Barda) and was really impressed. I was lucky enough to find someone who knew how to get in touch with him and we started talking. In the end I went with an idea that I've actually had for some time but never seemed to come what I felt was the right artist I guess. I think I found him here. Based on the classic cover to Tales of Suspense 80 it's Archie's hero the original golden age Shield trying to defeat DC's WWII villain Per Degaton. A great piece of work from Rafa - I mean, just look at how much he put into those special effects around the Cube.
