The New 52 Flash Part 2

This is an 11 x 14" rendering of the concept sketch on 3-ply bristol board. As you can see, I have cleaned it up a little and outlined wher ethe shadows fall. For reference for the suit I'm using Justice League #4's provided character study on the Flash by current Flash penciller Francis Manapul, which is extremely helpful for the seams on his costume, which is supposed to light up when he's travelling at high velocity and crackle with electrical energy. At this stage I'm contemplating using a copic marker variant for a color study.
