Description

As most are, I am a Kirby fan.

He was obviously prolific but not much pencil only artwork is available so I snatched this piece up when I saw it.

I believe it was a presentation/pitch piece for one of the many concepts that bubbled from Kirby's imagination - would have been neat to see it realized.

Helps that it has a Kirby Femme on the team - copyright 1979

A lot more pencil work from the King's cartoon pitching days has come out over the last few years. But this piece really holds up as a special one. It could be a page straight out of the Eternals.

You are correct - a lot of later Ruby-Spears out there now so maybe I'll add 'vintage' to this description!
