Description
This illustration was drawn for a Thing fan. I decided to also make this a tribute to Jack Kirby, Joe Sinnott, Stan Lee and the classic age of the FANTASTIC FOUR. Ben is inked on 11"X17" bristol plate, and the floating heads above him are drawn in "B" graphite pencil. The client was particularly happy with this image, as was I! Long live Ben Grimm!

Appreciate it, Don! I just wanted to give the client the Ben Grimm I grew up with--the ever lovin' blue-eyed Thing! I also enjoyed adding in the head shots of some of the characters prominent in Ben's life. It was a lot of fun.
