Betty & Veronica #143 pinup page (Dan DeCarlo, circa 2000) - Retro Fashions

This is a nice piece of art I was given by Dan DeCarlo shortly before he passed away. I met Dan and his wife Josie (the namesake for Josie and the Pussycats) at Planet Comicon in Overland Park, Kan. Both INCREDIBLY NICE. Spent much of the weekend helping them out, and Dan gave me this at the end of the show. I wasn't as into Archie at the time (that came later!), but spending time with Dan and Josie was such a positive, memorable experience that this piece has always had a lot of sentimental value.
