Rampage is a 5 - part storyline in the Valiant Universe in Bloodshot & Secret Weapons.

A former mob enforcer, Angelo Moretti agreed to testify against his former employers and enters the witness protection program. Unfortunately, he is sold out by his handlers to a mysterious project known as Project: Rising Spirt that laces his blood with nanites, granting him super-human strength and reflexes, but also strips him of his memory.

Freed from the facility by the Geomancer Geoff McHenry, Bloodshot begins a quest to regain his past, and set a course for the future, as his blood will eventually be known as "The Blood of Heroes" and be passed down among the protectors of Japan known as Rai.

With his new team finally coming together, Bloodshot and company follow up on a lead about a classified facility in Kyoto. But the secret that they'll find there is much more dangerous than any weapon... What could anyone possibly want with the corpse of the man that created Bloodshot?

BLOODSHOT RAMPAGE: Part 1 of 5. The original experiment which transformed Angelo Mortalli into Bloodshot was never completed, thanks to Geoff the Geomancer, who helped Bloodshot escape. Yoshi Iwatsu has vowed to finish the work of his father; as a result: Bloodshot completes his transformation into the ultimate killing machine. Continued in Secret Weapons (1993) #20.
