Wolverine # 300 - Silver Samurai (Shin) Character Designs / Concept art by Steven Sanders - 1st Appearance

Here are the original design and concept sketches done by Steven Sanders for the new Silver Samurai. The inked piece was also published in Wolverine #300 as a preview image at the end of the issue. This issue marked the first appearance of the new Silver Samurai and kicked off Aaron's Japan story-arc.

SPOILER: Silver Samurai's son, Shin, had his first appearance as the new Silver Samurai (aka Silver Samurai Jr.) briefly in Wolverine #300. You can really see him take action battling Wolverine, Sabertooth and ninjas in Wolverine #301. He's a fun young character who's even dating Wolvie's daughter, Amiko! I'm excited to see where Marvel takes him in the latest Japan story-arc.

These design/concept drawings were published in a two page spread in Wolverine # 300, January 2012 and in the 'Back in Japan' TPB in December 2012.
