This was a tonal element included as part of one of a series of Superman covers which I did back in 2000. This one shows Jor-El trying to escape Atomic City.

Such a sucker for the Kirby-vibe. Great, great cover. And I'll admit I was bummed to read this one wasn't for sale :( Another great piece of work.
