I think that the artist and his art speak for themselves. Anyway, let me say that this is a quite significant page in the story, written by Hans Rodionoff with Keith Giffen: H.P. Lovecraft is "attacked" by one of his recurrent nightmares, and he meets for the first time Sonia Greene, who will become his wife.
Also, the last panel is oil-painted (yes, oil-painted!) and I love the black border, which marks and emphasizes the boundary between reality and imagination.

This is one of my purchases at Mantova Comics 2012 (many thanks to Francesco!), where, among other exciting things, I've had the great pleasure to chat with the brilliant Simone Bianchi and his exquisite sister Gloria... Also, I was able to shake hands with Adi Granov (and, in the meanwhile, the two artists have traded each other some of their amazing works!).

Bellissima tavola: mi ricorda la pittura espressionista, visionaria nelle forme e nei colori, eppure cos� toccante l'animo umano.

Grande il Lovercraft di Breccia ! L'aggiunta del colore che apparentemente "ammorbidisce" la drammaticit� del bianco/nero, in realt� aggiunge il pathos che appunto deriva proprio dal rapporto psichico ed empatico con il colore a volte usato in modalit� espressioniste. Breccia dimostra qui di aver letto ed assotbito la "teoria del colore" di Goethe... E' una delle sue cose migliori. Ho anch'io una pagina da questa storia e penso che appunto prima o poi la poster�.
