Description

From 1995 this is a sealed "Toys-R-Us Exclusive" comic 2-pack of Todd McFarlane's Spawn#9 and Angela#2 from Image Comics. Spawn#9 from '92 or '93 is the first appearance of Angela and it's written by Neil Gaiman. Angela#2 is from 1993 and is by Neil Gaiman and Greg Capullo. (The material is the focus of the recent lawsuit between Gaiman and McFarlane that Neil won.) This set includes two prototype Spawn Trading cards. It impossible to grade the comics as the package is still sealed although the plastic package has some wear and some cracking at the top. This was donated by Bob Shaw to the Inkwell Awards.
