DescriptionKiller Bees was one of the best Legends card. Since flying is not characteristic of green, the player often had trouble dealing with big flyers, making Killer Bees a very useful card. With fast mana production, the bees had the potential to be a big green flier. Phil Foglio was well known for his humorous cartoon-like fantasy art. Here we see bees with swords, spears, and shields. He contibuted solo illustrations starting with Legends until Tempest 1997 when Magic started to move towards a more realistic art style. This original painting was a first prize in a tournament.Social/Sharing |
