Validus by Gene Gonzales

Validus is the subject of this third Fatal Five color portrait that Gene did for me. Validus is the son of Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl who was mutated by Darkseid into an unstoppable engine of destruction. He is stronger than a Kryptonian and can project mental lightning that can harm even the toughest opponents. I don't think he's ever been harmed by a physical attack, either. Anyway, he's my favorite member of the Fatal Five because I always liked his look and his tragic history. Gene did his normal excellent job and gave me a Validus who looks very beastial. I love the reflective surface of his brain cover, the mental lightning and the saliva!
