Description

This is the piece I'm proudest of. When I heard Darick would be at Armageddon Expo Melbourne in 2010, I wasn't sure what to get from him at first. He had drawn so many of my favourite comics. At the top of that list were The Boys and Transmetropolitan. Then I came up with this - Spider Jerusalem from Transmet and Wee Hughie from The Boys, clinking glasses together like old mates at the bar. Then Darick knocked it right out of the park. When you look at the faces you can tell these are his characters and the special attachment he has to them. It's all right there on the page.
