Description
One of my favourite ever Strontium Dog stories is the journey to Hell one. This particular image seared itself into my mind when reading it.In a period of amazing art by Carlos I always think of this particular story.I know theres a crease in the centre of the artwork which might put a few people off but I would not care if a herd of obese elephants had run over it I would still want this.

Classic story and stunning image. Interesting to see Carlos experimenting with colour...

A lovely bit of art, Peter! From the brief, but much-loved, period when 2000AD was printed on better paper stock rather than the usual bog-paper, hence the possibility to use fully-painted art.

That is one great looking page. I don't recall reading this one but from this page alone I feel like digging out the comics.

Well, if you really like it, make me an offer I cannot turn down.

Oh my word, I hadn't noticed you had this one! The design of the DPS is Carlos at his best, and his muted colour palette is so effective. The angle for the third panel in the lower tier is so effective in conveying a sense of the endlessness of hell. Glorious!
