This one...I can't believe this exists, honestly.

Daniel Johnston is THE hero of outsider art, both as a musician and as a physical artist. I've wanted to purchase a piece of his for a loooong while, but none of them ever really fit my theme or my price range.

Come MoCCA 2012, I see he's on the guest list. And for a brief second he was sitting at someone else's booth signing things. I asked if he'd do a sketch for the Hatter collection and he turned out a completely 100% Daniel Johnston Mad Hatter. The winged eyeball and the lizard thing added to the joy of the thing. Daniel is a wonderful man with such an intense kindness, and this is one of those pieces that's a once-in-a-lifetime get.
