Description

(Toei) Legendary animation studio Toei was hired to produce The Transformers for Hasbro/Sunbow/Marvel in 1984.

This is a key setup (1 cel and the original matching watercolor/guache background) from The Transformers episode 54 "Hoist Goes Hollywood" 1985.

Features a huge shot of Decepticon leader Megatron filling over half of the frame!

This setup was published as a full-page spread in the book "Totally Awesome: The Greatest Cartoons of the Eighties" by Andrew Farago on page 65.

One of the better Megatron pieces that I have seen. Megatron contrasts nicely with the background. Congrats on this pick up!
