Description

Taking their old time western anti-hero Jonah Hex and throwing him into a future timeline inspired by movies, we end up with the odd DC series simply titled Hex. It only lasted 18 issues and never really caught on with a mass audience but I couldn't get enough of this when I was younger. I thought taking the gunslinger out of his time and dropping him into a post nuclear war setting brought new life to the character as he was teamed up with Stiletta, taking on her father and many roving bands that they ran across in the wastelands. Mark Texeira provided the art with Carlos Garzon doing the inks. Lots of panels on this page as Hex faces off with a brainwashed Stiletta, who had been previously doing battle as the Blonde Spitfire.
