Ed is one of those guys whose work I really enjoy, for the most part. He can be a little “hit or miss” sometimes, but when he nails it, it’s something I usually get VERY excited about. I’m actually trying to remember the last time I saw him draw Iron Man. I’m sure he HAS, but don’t ask me when or where. You big McGuinness fans out there will probably be able to reference it faster and easier than I can. Nice layout and composition on this great battle scene. And I love the black background as well. Of course another solid inking job by Dex (what else is new). I think together they really nailed old shellhead here! Never seen Iron Man look better. Didn’t read the story, so I’m not sure if Cable’s arm is behind him or torn off from the fight. But nice job on Cable’s armor and costume as well. Wasn’t particularly looking to get another EDEX piece, but this just popped up and as soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted it. Thanks to Michael Alexander for the smooth transaction. Such a GREAT DPS! Iron man looks great and love the way Ed drew Cable's hand and arm coming up out of the darkness (it's still there). I really enjoyed this series b/c it featured Edex drawing all of the avengers and extended avengers. I have to say I love Ed's Cable. Congrats my friend.

I totally missed his fingertips coming out of the dark! You see, that's why I love posting on CAF! I may be old and blind (LOL) but at least I can always count on my eagle-eyed fellow comic art fans to point these kinds of things out to me! Thanks George!
