Another small souvenir from Big Wow a couple of weeks ago. This one from my buddy Steve Mannion. Funny, but when it comes to this particular show (formerly SuperCon) I don�t think I�ve ever picked up any artwork from anyone OTHER THAN Steve and Dean Yeagle! I should just call it the Steve & Dean show! LOL!

Although one year I did pick up a Jason Pearson piece from Albert Moy. Still, that was a fluke. Albert only set up at the show because he got a free booth for being Jim Lee�s agent. LOL!

Anyway, it seems that Steve is doing more and more work in just pencils these days, which is fine by me as I think his pencil work is just amazing. Of course he can also INK like nobody�s business, but there�s so much more depth and layering to his pencils.

This one�s a killer little (9x12) drawing with one of his Fearless Dawn characters, Helga and a cool looking dinosaur. If there�s one thing I like as much as Steve�s women, it�s his dinosaurs! Having a hot babe AND a killer dino on the same piece is like a double win for me!

Simply beautiful linework and shading on this pencil piece. I love the contrast between the tightly rendered figures against the roughly layed out background. Great job on the dino�s head and Helga�s�..ahem�..figure!

Thanks Steve! You are a BEAST my man!
