Description

La morte negli occhi del gatto
Un film di Anthony M. Dawson. Con Jane Birkin, Venantino Venantini, Serge Gainsbourg, Hiram Keller.
Horror, durata 96 min.
Nel castello di Dragstone, appartenente a Lady Mary MacGrieff e a suo figlio James, giunge espulsa dal collegio Corringa, figlia di Lady Alicia sorella di Lady Mary. Nel castello di famiglia grava una spaventosa leggenda: chiunche dei Macgrieff, venga ucciso da uno dello stesso sangue diventa vampiro. Poco dopo l'arrivo di Corringa, viene uccisa violentemente la madre e qualche giorno dopo muore anche un servitore. Dopo aver ingiustamente sospettato di James - nel quale trova, invece, un protettore innamorato - e dopo aver creduto che ad uccidere il servo sia stata Lady Alicia, diventata forse vampira, Corringa si convince, infine che l'assassina � Lady Mary. Tentando di sfuggirle la giovane si rifugia nei sotterranei del castello. Ivi per�, la raggiunge il vero assassino deciso a sterminare tutti i parenti per impossessarsi del castello
