Great stuff. So who cares if Barry was trying to look like Kirby and Steranko. There was so much more raw energy in his early art before he fell victim to the Art Nouveau thing.

in case you didnt know, most figures like that were redone by BWS at the last minute after seeing the unsatisfactory Sid Greene finished inks, apparently. So this page and many others from the book have images like that TAPED to the page. The tape hasnt colored, and those inks are starting to look really sweet! Glad he took the time and trouble, its a pop art moment in comic history we shouldnt forget!

Surprising to see Fury looking more athletic than Badass (reminds me of his Conan by the way)
