Batsman by Evan Shaner

Evan was one of the few artists who was actually aware of the character before I asked him to draw Batsman. So, extra points for that. Then some more extra points for awesomeness! I love the way this one seems like Batsman is doing a quick attack, as if someone either tried to sneak up behind him or he just landed on the roof and launched a fast bat attack. The motion lines and and the way the city is drawn really help to convey this. And Batsman himself just looks great. Evan continues to deliver superb commissions to me every time, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
