Description
I always avidly read and loved the stories of Sláine, created and written by Pat Mills. In my opinion they're a very well mixed cocktail of many classic genres: from the fantasy to the horror, from the historical to the mythological, with a bit of romance and, needless to say, a lot of British humor! Also, they were graced and enhanced by the talent of some of the greatest British artists: from Mike McMahon to Glenn Fabry and Simon Bisley, from Dermot Power to Clint Langley and of course Greg Staples...

Many thanks to Roman at outtaspacegallery for this beautiful page!

Please note that the main image is the published page, while the actual painted page is displayed as an additional image (sorry for the glares!)

Painted pages are so beautiful. I love the emotion behind this and the last panel, of course, is my favourite. Not only for the imagery but the words as well. Davide, you have so many gems, including this one, in your gallery. I don't know how you do it. :)

Greg's art in this strip was the best he ever did for 2000ad, it's a shame the story wasn't as memorable as the artwork. I love this page, particularly the dramatic second panel.
