Description

This is the Blonde Phantom by George Perez. I was lucky enough to get on his sketch list for HeroesCon 2012 and asked for this character. I had been reading some older books and was really in a Noir frame of mind when deciding which character I would ask George to draw.
To my surprise, I found a character that George had never drawn before and was thrilled.
When I picked up the piece, he pointed out that he wanted some paper with a little more tooth to it so he found an old board that he had and sketched on the back of it. The old board really holds the ink well and gives it a great feel.
Another surprise on the piece is on the back, there are breakdowns of an old Superman page from when George was first on the series.
Now I have to figure out a way to display the piece so people can see the back as well.
