| Q: | Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why? |
| A: | It's really difficult to pick a favorite from my gallery. It constantly changes depending on my mood. One of my favorite pieces it The Shadow meets Lois Lane by Wilfredo Torres because that kicked off my whole Search for Superman theme which has now taken on a life of its own. The artists I commission really seem to enjoy the theme as well. |
| Q: | Please tell us a little about yourself. |
| A: | I've been reading comics since I was about three years old when my Dad told me that I couldn't have any more until I could read them on my own. I've been a fan for a long time. Everyone calls me Little John, a nickname I embrace as some others I had growing up were decidedly unflattering. I'm a huge Disney fan, beer nerd, and movie buff as well. I think one of the greatest things about the internet is that we were able to get in contact with our own people. |
| Q: | How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start? |
| A: | My Aunt provided me my first piece of original artwork when I was 8. A full figure pencil, ink, and watercolor of Spider-Man from Gray Morrow. That started me on the path of collecting commissioned art. I don't really collect a lot of published pages, unless it's something that really strikes me. |
| Q: | How do you display/store your collection at home? |
| A: | I have a lot of my artwork framed and displayed throughout my home. Some of the frames are the kind where I can easily swap out different pieces so I can change it up from time to time. The pieces not on display are kept in portfolios on a bookshelf for easy access. |
| Q: | What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions? |
| A: | I'm still on the hunt for a Mark Brooks, Art Adams, Steranko, Joe Jusko, and a Craig Hamilton to name just a few. |
