Description

This is a great sketch done by Scott McDaniel at the Pittsburgh Comicon earlier this year. My friend Brian Jones was nice enough to pick this up for me at the show since I couldn't attend and brought it to Heroescon for me.

I had the piece inked by Jim Amash at Heroescon 2012.

I think what makes the whole piece is that Scott included the smile on Cap as that's how I always picture the character. Captain Marvel isn't a grim and gritty character in my mind.

After seeing this piece I'd love to see Scott on a Captain Marvel book, he captures everything that makes him the fun character that he is.

I agree with Brian on this. Scott captures a wholesomeness of the character. Really nice pairing.
