I Recently spent 3 weeks traveling through China. Started in Tibet and went through Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Shanghai, Suzhou and last, but not least, Hong Kong. Very educational trip on learning about China in general and saw some really Beautiful scenery. I got to walk part of the Great Wall of China (Made it to the 7th tower and was trying for the 8th before getting called back because of time limits) Saw the Terracotta soldiers, Potola Palace in Tibet, Tiananmen Square, and lots of other Amazing sites while there. One of the Scenic places that we visited was Guilin. We took a cruise down the river Li that was absolutely Beautiful. Once on that river, I started recognizing the scenery from pictures and movies. A must see for any one that gets the chance. While I was there, I picked up this painting of the harbor in Hong Kong which was really a Beautiful site at night time. I would also have to say that it was very modern looking with all the neon at night and there was even a laser show. I liked the painting because it shows the modern but mixes the old world Ships in to show the new vs old world. I don't know who the painting is by because I bought it from one of the street vendors in the market place. Size on this painting is 23x27 acrylic on canvas.
